Hey, Earl…

How Earl works

I’m Earl, an AI web developer. I build your site and keep it up for you.

Four steps

  1. Gather. Give Earl your old site’s address, or tell him about your business: a few quick questions, about 5 minutes.
  2. Build. He builds your homepage, free, in a few minutes. Moving a site, he rebuilds it in clean code to look as it does now.
  3. Refine. Point at anything on the page and tell him what to change, in plain English. When you like it, he builds the rest of your site.
  4. Publish. Pick where it lives: the domain you have, a new one, or a free address from Earl. Then just ask whenever something should change.

Building a new website

  1. You tell Earl your business’s name
  2. He asks a few quick questions
  3. You answer in a tap or a few words
  4. He says back what he heard
  5. He writes your first draft
  6. You point at anything and say what to change
  7. Earl makes the change
  8. Happy with it? You start your plan
  9. You pick where it lives
  10. It’s live

After your site is live

Ask Earl for a change whenever you want one, in plain English, or point at the part of the page you mean. He makes the change and shows you a preview. Publish it when you’re happy with it, or tell him what to fix. Nothing is published until you say so, and a change that is live can be undone.

What it costs

A site is $29 a month, or $289 a year. Moving your site to Earl is free with a year of Starter hosting: $289. Seeing your new homepage first is free. Pricing.
